The engine compartment is one of the main parts that determine whether the vehicle will run stably or not. Therefore, cleaning the engine compartment is one of the very necessary jobs, so you can be assured of using a moving car on all roads.

Before proceeding with cleaning the engine bay, let the engine cool down completely for 15 to 30 minutes. This way the engine as well as the important details does not decrease its life due to sudden temperature changes. Currently, most of the current models in Vietnam are equipped with engine covers, only a few, mostly old cars without this detail. Thanks to the lid, the engine as well as the important parts are significantly protected from external factors.

Step 1, cover the air inlet of the car

Use a clean towel to catch the air inlet. This is very important, helping to prevent water from entering the combustion chamber causing a hydraulic attack. More carefully, you can use the ways to remove the air inlet to easily clean the engine compartment. In addition, the black box area of the car must also be covered with a dry towel or plastic. Make sure that important parts such as batteries and black boxes are carefully covered.

In the next step, use the cleaning solution of the engine bay to spray on the vocabulary areas around the engine

Spray the engine cleaning solution on the area around the engine and the inside of the cap to soften and dissolve dirt, remove deposits in the corner. Note wearing masks, gloves and goggles before spraying chemicals.

Currently, the market sells specialized solutions of Meguiars, 3M or Black Magic used to clean the engine compartment of cars. If caring for your car at home, the owner should equip these fluids instead of soap or detergents that can corrode metal and rubber parts in the engine compartment. Then, spray the water on the engine compartment and under the lid for a while

Step 5: Spray the solution onto the car engine compartment

After washing once, the surface of the engine room is still wet, we spray the solution on the engine room and the bottom of the lid.

Step 6: Brush or rub rubbing the entire area around the engine.

Step 7: Remove the toilet lid

While waiting for the cleaning solution to work, we remove the lid and then clean with hot steam. On the surface of the engine there are electronic parts so do not spray water, instead we use an old toothbrush to scrub the nooks and crannies.

Step 8: Wash the surrounding area

Cover the engine compartment cover to prevent water splashing into the engine, then spray water to wash the surrounding area.

Step 9: Clean the details on the car engine compartment

After the cleaning solution has worked, we wipe dry the details on the machine compartment dry. Use airless spray.

Step 10: Wash the lid
